My older boys decided to live with their father rather than deal with their drug addiction. It's too quiet here, and yet it is a relief to not have their chaos here. It's hard to determine if I am devastated or relieved.
well, you got one of your goals...to get the drugs out of your house. I have a feeling they will realize how much it sucks to live there. Either that or their dad will get really tired of having to be the responsible one. Either way, they will be back. maybe take a while, but they will be back. For now, enjoy the fact that you are home and hopefully, get to stay there for a while.
When they do come back, and "susie" is right, they will... it will be on your terms this time, not theirs. This is a good thing, as difficult as that is to realize. Stick to your guns, Sister! You are right and acting in their best interest for the long haul.
